Corporate portraits pretty much sums up a company’s corporate image.
On November last year, we were requested to shoot the corporate portraits of the CEO of Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation to be used for his ID tag. We did the shots and they loved it so much that they decided to use the photos for other promotional materials of the company.
Time is essential in this session as it deals with a VIP. The shoot has to be done briefly. So before the shots were done, we scouted the area for the best possible angle and light. We used a standby model for the mock-up shots to fine tune the camera settings and the subject’s position. After we are satisfied, only then we called in Dato’ for his shots. It was a direct shoot with minimal art direction. We completed in less than 10 minutes.

Shot with D700, Nikkor 85mm f1.4D, ISO 800, 1/200s. Using fill-in flash and natural light. Subject is seated next to a large window, light diffused by window blinds.
