Yes, we understand that it is very hard to choose the right photographer at this point of time since every person you know owns a camera and is readily available to take up your offer to photograph your event. But before you commit and pay the deposit, please ask them these few basic but very IMPORTANT questions.
QUESTION 1: CAN I ASK WHAT CAMERA AND LENSES ARE YOU USING?
For the camera body, the model that we are using right now is the professional grade full-frame digital single-lens reflex Nikon D700. For lenses, what we have are prime lenses. Sigma 50mm f1.4, Nikkor 85mm f1.4 and Nikkor 35mm f2. Pair up the D700 and the Sigma 50mm 1.4, and you’ll get MAGIC! In short, our camera body and lenses are among the best there is!
Backup camera? Well, our backup camera body is also a D700. Just to make sure that you’ll get the same crisp images. Flash? We have 2 units. Memory cards? We have plenty. Battery? Do we have to answer this?? OK, we have dozens!
Yes, equipment does matter. At least to us when we say that we are seriously committed to our clients. We only want the best for you. Likewise, we also want the best for us too. We can explain to you about the nitty gritty reason why you need to consider the photographer’s equipment before deciding your photographer. But the one question that you need to ask yourself is “HOW IMPORTANT IS PHOTOGRAPHY TO YOU?”

QUESTION 3: DO YOU HAVE A BACKUP PHOTOGRAPHER, IN CASE YOU CANNOT TURN UP ON MY BIG DAY DUE TO EMERGENCY?

QUESTION 4: DO YOU HAVE AN OFFICE OR A REGISTERED ADDRESS?
Our residence is our home studio. You may come and visit us there if you want.
QUESTION 5: DO YOU HAVE ANY INVOICE OR PAYMENT PROOF?
Once you have confirmed, we will email you the so called Contract. The contract will list all the terms and conditions pertaining to our photography service. We are open for discussion if you find there are any clauses which you are not comfortable with. Once everything is OK, you may sign and return the same to us.
It doesn’t matter who you choose to be your photographer. You need to know that it is not all about the price. You should look around and get to know your photographer. Ask as many details as possible and when you have finally made the decision, know that you have done it wisely.
