This idea of a “one word” has been lingering in my head for quite some time. Although I was preoccupied with work & life but the truth is I can’t never seem to take my mind of it. What will be my “one little word” for 2012? Just one word.
As Ali Edward blogs about it:
One little word can have big meaning in your life if you allow yourself to be open to the possibilities. And here’s one thing that is totally interesting: sometimes a word will pop into your brain and it will not make any sense to you right now. Give it some time. Let it percolate a bit. I have often found that our hearts speak to us in very unique ways. Maybe this is a word you need to hear but just aren’t ready for it yet. Again, be open to the possibilities.
I know it’s a little bit late but it doesn’t matter to me. Better late than never!! It’s always good to start something new no matter what day or month of year it is. Just start doing!!
So back to my one little word, after thinking about it for so long, I have chosen the word FIND. What is the meaning of that word to me? A lot of things!!…..
I want to FIND the light. I want to FIND the beauty in my own backyard. I want to FIND beauty in simple things. I want to FIND my own voice. Whatever it is that I’m doing, this little word will always echo in my heart. Who knows where it might lead me to? I pray to Allah for his guidance. Amin.
