Dear First Born,
I was running through my hard disk looking for images to use when I stumble upon these images of you moving into your first house.
It was taken sometime before the lockdown started. Your place is only 5 minutes drive from my house and I find that super convenient! (means more time to spend with you and your sisters!). I think all mothers would know how precious time can be when their children are either married or are young adults. They are always busy with their own life! So these are some of the warm memories that I want to remember. This to me is the beauty of spending time together with you and your sister, doing the everyday things.
Love,
Mama.
Artifact motherhood is a collaboration of artists/mothers from around the world. Sharing stories of the joys and struggles of our journey. Our hopes and dreams for our children. With little nuggets of wisdom here and there. These are more than photographs with dates written on the back. These are the artifact we are leaving behind for children and the generations to come.

Such a beautiful collection of memories. Our children are only our’s for such a short period of time. I find it rather bittersweet. I can’t help but imagine what sort of feelings I would have, as children grow into young adults spreading their wings. Your storytelling evokes the feeling of being a proud mother… and that is something I look forward to experiencing myself. As always, thank you for sharing your beautiful heart.
Everyone of these photographs has my heart. I’m a few years behind you with my daughter, and I can only imagine the bittersweet magic in helping her set up her new home. As you’re doing right here. Beautiful and so special.
I love these glimpses into your world. I always feel so much love in your posts.this is so special to have documented.
I ditto Ann’s comments above. I love your storytelling and these are told with such love.
I love that you shared this time with your older girls. It gives me hope and I love that little glimpse at life
What a lovely and poignant memory to have documented. I love all the amazing angles you’ve got in your shot too!
