“Therefore remember Me. I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not be ungrateful.” – Quran 2:152
10 things I am grateful for today.
My father celebrated his 74th birthday today. We had a small family gathering to celebrate it. We had delicious food cooked by my mum and spent the day listening to old stories from when my dad was young. It was really fun.
The funny faces and cute laughter from my son. Not sure who is more excited about the cake?!
This. My mum and dad. The love of my life. They’ve been married for 53 years.
Only half of the clan. I am so grateful to be able to spend the whole day with them. They say grateful people are happier and less prone to stress and depression. Just be thankful for all the good stuff no matter how big or small it is in your life!
Time for a haircut! and the best part is it’s FREE! hahahaha…
This is my niece. She’s the youngest grandchild and so adorable!
That’s my eldest sister who is the appointed “hair-stylists” in the family!!
Time for a new hairstyle Khaled!
I have the most supportive and loving sisters in the world. Here is one of them.
The ability to see and document all the sweet moments!
This is a monthly blog circle from amazing photographers all around the world, head on over to Charlotte’s beautiful blog to see what she’s up to! You don’t want to miss it! Thank you!
Min Min Min!!! I had to comment on this right away because I absolutely love everything about your post. You captured your family so perfectly and I can feel the strong love you have for them. Wow! Thank you so much for being a part of our group. And I’m the one who cuts Claire’s hair haha. We’ve never been to a salon. Probably don’t do as good of a job as your sister though. 🙂
Ooooh THANK YOU so much Kristi!! Wait till you see when everybody’s there, my family is so huge, things can be really intense. I have 5 siblings, three sisters and two brothers and altogether my mum and dad have fourteen grandchildren!! You can imagine the chaos!! But that’s the best part right?! HAHAHAHA..and I love the monthly haircut session with my sister, Oh my god, it’s so horrible to bring a toddler to the salon, especially for my son, he will scream and scream and scream till I don’t know what to do. BTW Love Claire’s hair, you did a super job!!
Min, you know I’m a huge fan of yours – I always look forward to seeing your work. What a wonderful set of images this month – I agree with Kristi – its so easy to see the love in these photographs. Many happy returns to your Father!
Right back at you Charlotte!! Family always keeps me grounded and reminded me the importance to document those meaningful moments, Thank you so much for your wishes! xx
Oh I love these, MIn! What an amazing example your parents are and how neat that you documented this celebration. I just gave a “free” haircut to my son yesterday – wasn’t my best work (haha) but it was free. 😉 Thanks for sharing – your work is beautiful.
Thank you so much, Sarah! Their devotion and love towards each other are beautiful even after 53 years of marriage! Free haircut is the best right!! No worries, it will grow again in no time hahaha. :p
Free haircuts YAY! 🙂 Love these Min <3
