“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” – Wayne Dyer

Part of the reason I decided to take up the 365 project is to get better at my photography. By shooting every day (well almost), I am exercising my creative muscles and I’m always trying to see things differently from a new perspective and new angle. And lately, I have been playing a lot with different lights. I am completely fascinated by what light can do to your images. You can try to shoot every day and see what it can do to you. Record your findings in a small notebook and take it everywhere you go. Study the light and your surrounding. Make sure your camera is always ready and at the right setting. Experiment a lot. Slow down and really enjoy those small little moments.

I am grateful for this little boy. He has taught me a lot on slowing down and to just enjoy the moment. I have learned to see the world through the eyes of a two-year-old boy who is always on the mission to find some secret treasure hidden somewhere in the house. And the best part is I get to be in his adventure! And here he is enjoying his late afternoon chocolate dessert after a nap. The sun was going down slowly and I quickly let him enjoy his chocolate outside so that I get to photograph him. I tried and experimented with few angles and just love the outcome. Most of my settings were F2, ISO at 200 and shutter around 200-400.
